Bio

From the time I started gettting perms and can remember those visits to the salon, I wondered what it would be like to be the one behind the chair. I always had an interest in my hair, my friend's hair and every hairstyle magazine at the grocery store. After I finished high school I didn't start into Cosmetology school right away, I actually went to college, travelled and figured out who I wanted to be.

When I finished Cosmetology school I worked with some of the top colorists and stylists in the San Fransisco area. I took weekly classes and attended as many hair shows as I could. I further extended my training with advanced classes at Vidal Sassoon in Santa Monica. I have also taken classes at the Yuko Academy, learning how to achieve the most beautiful results on thermal straightening.

I believe that when it comes to hair, beauty and fashion is a never ending advancement. Because of these constant changes and new ideas I am firm in my belief of ongoing education. In 2006 I became an educator for PureOlogy, putting me in an even better position continue my education and further my career. I travel to other salons in the area and teach other stylists how to use their products and new drying and styling techniques. This has been a great learning experience, personally and professionally.
