Blountville 4th of July Parade, 2010
First you have to decorate the cars

Clayton prepares
a sign - "FREE WATER"

Of course patriotic
songs are in order!

Barbara Jean
teaches our littlest patriots how to get into the spirit of the
holiday!

Decorations
complete, things are coming together.

Norm makes faces
at the photographer. BJ & Clayton pretend not to notice.
We are all sooo happy!

Matt, Olivia
& Duncan are ready to go
Jerry is ready to take Matthew,
Jillian, Arwen & Sarah for their first parade ride.

Lisa & Cindy
are smiling. They have air conditioning!
The parade begins! The Fire Truck
gets to go first because he's the biggest.

Then comes the
Vietnam Veterans - God bless 'em.

Hey - they put
us near the front! WooHoo!
Next comes some fun cars.

Then comes the
cars with political advertising. This little car was amusing.

This car was
classic.

So was this
one.

Ya gotta love
small town parades!
Church member Timothy Hill takes a
break in the shade.
Then he sees people in the parade
carrying signs with his name on them. He likes this!
Meanwhile Barbara is still faithfully
giving out water and gospel tracts.
Happy 4th of July everybody!
