Our Services |
| |
|
The Lord's
Supper is completely devoted to the remembrance of our Lord Jesus
Christ as He requested (Luke 22:19). |
|
The elements on the table are
symbols of the body and the blood of the Lord Jesus. |
|
The order of the meeting is
simple and unprogrammed, with all things done decently and in
order. Believers will take part spontaneously as they are led
by the Holy Spirit. Some might perhaps suggest hymns, some may
read appropriate Scriptures which fix our gaze on the Savior.
Others may express worship, appreciation, praise or thanksgiving
to the Lord in prayer. There is no presiding minister at this
time, the Holy Spirit will lead us in our worship of the Lord
Jesus Christ. There may also be times of silent meditation as
we contemplate and reflect upon our precious Savior. |
|
According to the Word of God,
the men wear no head covering, and the women do, that we might
visibly proclaim the Headship of Christ over His church, and
that only Christ might be glorified. (1st Corinthians 11:2-16,
1st Corinthians 1:29) |
|
If you do not know the
Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, you are welcome to
observe, but it would not be appropriate for you to participate. |
|
Everyone trusting in Christ
for eternal salvation and living in fellowship with him in obedience
to His Holy Word is encouraged to partake of the elements in
remembrance of the Lord. |
| |
|
During the Family Bible hour, there
are hymns & choruses, teaching and preaching, and the little
children go to Childrens Church. |
| |
|
Sunday evenings we have adult
Sunday School, sometimes at the homes of members, sometimes at
the church. Very informal, includes food and fellowship. |
| |
|
Wednesday night Bible Study
is a time for Bible Study, and then prayer over people and situations
on the church prayer list. |
