Church History In 1971, David Collins began a martial arts school in an old warehouse in Blountville. In 1978, Jesus Christ brought David to Himself in salvation, and gave him a desire to lead people to Christ. Because of David's desire to honor God and promote the cause of Jesus Christ, the martial arts school became a positive influence in the community with David's proclamation of the gospel showing many people their need for Christ. Blountville Community Chapel began on March 21, 1993 with David's father-in-law James Ralph as pastor. In 1997, Richard Pike became the pastor, with an emphasis on teaching and preaching the whole counsel of God. In June of 2007, the Blountville Community Chapel moved from the facilities of the martial arts school and is now meeting at 3080 Highway 126, Blountville TN.
